It’s now more important than ever for operators to address the cleaning and sanitization of their equipment, AMOA says, which is why the association has created stickers, posters and more for facilities and their machines.
Available at www.amoa.com/covid19 under “Other Resources,” you’ll find a 5×5” safety sticker, an 8.5×11” safety flyer and a 2×3’ safety poster. The posters and flyers have optional “insert company logo” files, too. Each is available for download, and can be taken to a local print shop or online printing resource for processing, AMOA said. The safety sticker says, “We Take Your Safety Seriously. This machine is cleaned regularly according to CDC standards. Thank you for your business.” The poster and flyer say the same with a few more details, such as, “We recommend washing your hands with soap and water or using hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol when you finish playing.”
AMOA is currently working on providing operators with more arcade-specific details on the CDC standards, as well as identifying cleaners safe for use on various types of machines. That information should be available sometime next week. Stay tuned at www.amoa.com.
