Starting on April 14, TouchTunes will be ramping up a new promotional campaign for alternative country artist Sturgill Simpson’s upcoming album, “A Sailor’s Guide to Earth.”
Simpson’s sophomore album, “Metamodern Sounds in Country Music,” was well received and widely acclaimed in 2014, ranking among the best albums of the year. The artist’s upcoming album, a self-produced commemoration of the birth of his son, features NYC’s funk/soul group The Dap-Kings. The first single, “Brace For Impact (Live A Little)” was released in March, and fans are excited to hear Simpson’s cover of Nirvana’s “In Bloom” song on the album as well.
