The all-electric, indoor go-kart pros at RPM Raceway are heading to a new location in the tony Fairfield County township of Stamford, Conn. The location, scheduled to open in the first half of 2018, will include competitive racing, dining, sports bar, 14 lanes of bowling, racing simulators, a multiplayer VR experience and an arcade.
The new, two-level, 90,000 sq. ft. facility is owned and operated by husband and wife team Eyal Farage and Karen Davis-Farage, and will be the sixth raceway throughout the Northeast of the country. Toppers expect it will bring over 100 jobs to the local Stamford economy.
“We are pleased to announce that RPM Raceway is coming to Connecticut,” said Karen Davis-Farage, president and co-owner of RPM Raceway. “Indoor kart racing is one of the fastest growing forms of family entertainment in the country. After extensive research, we found an excellent location in Stamford that will enable us to build a state-of-the-art kart racing and entertainment facility that is fully-interactive and engaging. This is our sixth location in three states, so we are excited to continue our expansion as a brand and look forward to bringing our authentic and exhilarating racing and entertainment experience to the Stamford community in 2018.”
