A&A Global Industries has announced that it completed a roof-mounted solar array that covers their Cockeysville, Md., headquarters and will offset an impressive 100 percent of their current energy needs!
The completion of the array represents an important achievement for the company, and a huge step forward in their ongoing environmental and sustainability efforts. According to A&A, the project will reduce their carbon footprint by the equivalent of planting 31,974 acres of trees or consuming 4,389,394 less gallons of gasoline. On top of that, the initial investment is supposed to be recaptured in under four years while projected to provide electricity for the next 25-30 years.
“Many companies are switching to renewable power at a remarkable rate,” said Steve Kovens, Executive VP of A&A. “We are proud to be a part of this initiative to switch to 100 percent renewable energy to offset traditional energy.”
