Harold Bettelman, brother of the late Al Bettelman of C.A. Robinson & Co., Los Angeles, has died at his Glendora, Calif., home at age 95.
Harold was well known to the many operator-customers and suppliers who dealt with C.A.R. when it did business on Pico Boulevard. He worked as their dealership’s manager of security and in the same role for the Bettelman family’s Son’s routes and Golfland FEC.
Harold had previously spent 15 years with the El Monte Police Dept. and served as an MP during WWII at Pearl Harbor (see photo courtesy of nephew Sandy Bettelman).
God bless.
