On Tuesday, May 29, Anthony Russano, an IT specialist and tech for operator H. Lazar & Son, died suddenly while at work. He was just 42 years old, and a beloved employee of 18 years. Russano is survived by his wife, Rebecca, and their unborn daughter Sophia, who’s set to be welcomed into the world in July.
According to company topper Dale Lazar, Anthony will always be remembered for his love of life, infectious laugh, warm heart and bountiful smile. “Anthony was an integral part of our company, performing a vast array of functions and helping to make H. Lazar & Son, Inc. a better company. The employees of H. Lazar will remember Anthony for his extraordinary level of caring, which he evidenced on a daily basis. Moreover, our customers recognized Anthony’s commitment to excellence, his level of professionalism, and the ease in which he connected to people,” said Lazar.
Donations in Anthony’s memory can be made to a GoFundMe account found here. Lazar said, “A meaningful number of industry members have already contributed. The outpouring of support from TouchTunes employees has been amazing.”
He added, “Anthony, in many ways, was bigger than life…and left a lasting impression on my customers and many of the TouchTunes employees.” Rest in peace.
