Betti Industries was pleased to host the company’s inaugural “Paying It Forward” military appreciation volunteer day on Wed., May 25. Employees assembled and prepped over 85 boxes to send to military members based in Camp Lemonnier – the U.S. Navy Expeditionary Base – and to the Combined Joint Task Force in the Horn of Africa (the only permanent U.S. military base on that continent).
Throughout the day, teams of employees wrote letter and decorated boxes full of calling cards, water bottles, snacks and more. The company partnered with Jersey Cares, a well known volunteer organization.
“This year’s event was an overwhelming success. Our participation is our way of showing gratitude and appreciation towards our service members,” said Jonathan Betti, VP of Sales and Business Development. “Everyone is already looking forward to next year’s ‘Paying It Forward’ event.”
