ICE’s Dan Coppola chats about the company’s 34-year history in Buffalo, N.Y., with a member of the CBS crew during filming.

Buffalo, N.Y.-based ICE was excited their Bills were able to celebrate the first NFL game of the season on Thursday, September 15 when the N.Y. Jets came to town. CBS, which airs a late-week gridiron broadcast, was at the factory shooting footage to be featured during the game.

According to the network, “Each week we attempt to capture the flavor of the cities we visit by showcasing video of local manufacturing, a museum or a well-known restaurant. This footage is then used during our national telecast of the Thursday night NFL game.” With 34 years manufacturing in the town of Buffalo, we think a stop by the ICE plant was an ideal choice!

The factory’s Mike Tobin hopes readers got the chance to “tune in to CBS to root for the Bills and see the footage from the factory.” You can also click here to see more pictures taken of the filming.
