In a joint letter to the National Conference of State Legislators (NCSL), an industry coalition consisting of AAMA, the trampoline park association (IATP) and the roller skating group (RSA) recently requested consistency across the leisure and entertainment sectors relating to reopening and operations.
The letter also requested state funding for the businesses as they try to sustain at restricted capacity levels or while closed completely – and asked for recognition that the industry’s facilities are practicing health and safety protocols that meet or exceed CDC guidelines.
AAMA met with several NCSL representatives during their virtual visit to Capitol Hill in October, and the letter stems from those conversations and pleas for industry help. Click here to read the full letter or learn more at www.coin-op.org.
