Spring Cleaning
by Jack Guarnieri, Jersey Jack Pinball & PinballSales.com
Everyone who reads this column knows I’ve been at this a while. Perhaps many also know that I’m something of a keeper of stuff, some of it in a sentimental way. Sometimes, it’s more of a practical thing. After all, why throw something away when you may need it in the future, right?
I’ve traveled to many different operator’s shops over the years and I’d like to share a few pictures.
After looking at these, I think you’ll agree: It’s spring, so go get a dumpster (or three) and get rid of the clutter!
Jack Guarnieri started servicing electro-mechanical pinball machines in 1975 and has been involved in every phase of the amusement game business since then. He was an operator in NYC, then began a distributorship in 1999, PinballSales.com, selling coin-op to the consumer market. In January of 2011, he founded Jersey Jack Pinball (named after his RePlay Magazine pen name), which builds award-winning, full-featured, coin-op pinball machines.
