Laserforce’s Gen 8 gear has found some enthusiastic adopters in four different countries on four different continents, all before it even had its official world-wide release. Gen 8 Infinity was a game changer, according to Laserforce, at Laserzone in Sugar Land, Texas. The location started with laser tag in the mid-1990’s and were impressed by the “revolutionary experience” Gen 8 brought to the game.
“Gen 8 has exceeded all of our expectations,” said Jeff Willy, COO at Laserforce. “Positive player feedback has proven to us that Gen 8 is the breath of life that laser tag needed. Gen 8 pre-orders have shattered our initial projections. We’ve already sold out of our initial production run and are close to selling out for the remainder of the year.”
The system began shipping in early June this year, and will be on display at several industry trade shows before the end of the year, including IAAPA in November and the Euro Attractions Show in September (going on now).
