This year’s Amusement Expo is right around the corner, starting Tuesday of next week (March 15) and running through March 17. The good news is, you can still sign up!
From the strong slate of educational seminars to a show floor full of brand new products, there are many reasons for industry members to attend. But if you need further incentive, how about the chance to win one of the many great prizes in AMOA’s Wayne E. Hesch Scholarship Fund raffle and help some deserving students with their college expenses?
Traditionally, show organizers have raffled off a car as a part of the fundraising, but this year organizers have kicked it up a notch and are offering four grand prizes in the form of vacation gift certificates. Two of these are from Apple Vacations and offer $5,000 and $7,000 trips; the others are $4,000 and $6,000 certificates from Princess Cruises. Prizes are not limited to these biggies, though. Lucky raffle ticket purchasers also have the chance to win new jukeboxes, dart machines, consumer electronic prizes, foosball tables and all sorts of other goodies.
Winners will be chosen near the end of exhibit hours on Wednesday and Thursday at the Hesch booth (#133) where tickets are also on sale ($25 each or five for $100).
