The 32nd Annual Pinball Expo is just around the corner, running from Oct. 12-16 at the Westin Chicago North Shore. Stern is also hosting their 30th Anniversary Extravaganza (offsite at Viper Alley) on Friday, Oct. 14 (however, that event has sold out).
Attendees of the Expo will get a chance to see the newest pins on the market, from Stern’s Can Crusher collaboration with Pabst Blue Ribbon and out-of-the-vault Batman ’66 to Jersey Jack Pinball’s unnamed third creation designed by Williams, Midway and Stern vet Pat Lawlor. Heighway Pinball will showcase their Aliens game, American Pinball is showing Houdini and PPS/Chicago Gaming – the group behind the Medieval Madness reboot – will announce (and hopefully show) their next remake.
The Expo will also feature pinball tournaments, prize drawings, seminars, free play games, performances and more. Advanced admission for the event is $230 if you want to attend the banquet, and $200 if not. For those only looking to check out the exhibit hall, a five-day pass costs $105; a single day pass costs $30. The event’s host hotel (Westin Chicago North Shore) is sold out as of now.
