PrimeTime Amusements, a longtime operator of arcade games with roughly 2,000 games in central Florida alone, is expanding its deal with Loews Hotels with specific focus on operations at its Universal Orlando Resorts, which is set to undergo a significant expansion. (The hospitality giant is already active in Orlando with a number of massive properties; PrimeTime has game rooms in its Universal’s Cabana Bay Hotel, The Portofino Hotel, The Hard Rock Hotel, The Royal Pacific Hotel, The Sapphire Hotel and The Aventura Hotel, as well as in Universal Orlando.)
On June 21, PrimeTime founder and CEO David Goldfarb hit Orlando to discuss the equipment they’ll need. “You always have to take care of your core accounts,” said Goldfarb. “It excites me that Loews will continue to entrust us with their numerous arcade experiences.”
While PrimeTime Amusements has been busy in the operations sector stateside, there has also been a significant push into the turn-key arena abroad. The company says one of the largest hotel groups in Mexico is planning to expand its current holdings and operations with major acquisitions and construction plans and will use one of PrimeTime’s themed game-rooms as a test model. Should the concept prove successful, the company says more will be emulated across the corporation’s numerous properties. For more info on PrimeTime, click here.
