Georgia-based Stars and Strikes announced plans to open two new FECs this year. Its 12th location is planned for the third quarter of 2018 in Smyrna, Tenn., while the 13th will open in Summerville, S.C., in November, according to PRNewswire. The new stores will be the first in each state and only the second and third spots opening outside of the FEC’s home state of Georgia.
Both FECs will be housed in nearly identical 55,000-square-foot facilities. Stars and Strikes centers on 24 bowling lanes, eight of which are in the upscale Main St. Lounge. The FECs will also feature a 7,300-square-foot arcade and prize store, a multi-story laser tag arena and bumper cars — not to mention a large restaurant and full-service bar. Party rooms and event spaces will also be available.
“We are excited to bring a quality brand of family-focused entertainment … that guests of any age can enjoy,” said Chris Albano and Jack Canouse, managing partners and co-founders of Stars and Strikes.
