Semnox will be installing its cashless payment system at the Fantasy Island amusement park in Skegness on the East Coast of England. Semnox’s readers will be used on over 500 arcade, video redemption and gaming machines, as well as several large outdoor rides and attractions. In addition, handheld devices will be used for making payments at rides for customers on a pay-as-you-go plan. The company’s multi-window redemption module will be used at various redemption counters; the integrated online E-Commerce module will be used for purchasing new cards, reloading and checking card-related transactions through the web.
“Customer convenience has been our key to success and Semnox just had the right product to offer using their cashless system,” said park owner Edward Mellors. “Fantasy Island is regarded as one of the biggest and most popular holiday parks in the United Kingdom. Our operations are unique, keeping in mind the enhanced guest experience we strive to give our visitors. Semnox was more than willing to accept this challenge and customize their products and services for a better customer experience, while reducing our total cost of ownership for the cashless system.”
Semnox VP Umesh Prabhu added, “We are thrilled to add an impressive and globally recognized park such as Fantasy Island to our client base. We look forward to a smooth roll out of our products and services at the park in the coming months.”
